Undergraduate

The Indigenous Studies minor requires 18 hours of Indigenous Studies (ISP) courses.

  • 12 hours must be in courses numbered 300 or above, with a 2.0 grade-point average. Nine of the 12 hours must be taken at KU.
  • One course taken at Haskell Indian Nations University is strongly recommended. Up to nine hours (six freshman/sophomore and three junior-senior) can be transferred from another university.
  • Courses must have 30% or more content focused on Indigenous peoples, and be approved by the ISP Executive Committee.
