The University of Kansas Financial Aid and Scholarships (FAS) office serves students, families, and the community by providing financial aid and scholarship information and resources to assist students in achieving their educational goals. Learn more on the Financial Aid website.
All students who attended Haskell Indian Nations University are eligible for in-state tuition. More information can be found on the Registrar's website.
On occasion, the Indigenous Studies program has funds available for scholarships. In addition to application materials, candidates must also have filed a current FAFSA to be considered.
Udall Scholarship
The Udall Scholarship is open to two categories of undergraduate students: students interested in careers in the environment, and Native American or Alaska Native students interested in careers related to tribal policy or health care. The scholarships provide $5,000 and pay for participation in an orientation in Tucson, Arizona. Students must be nominated by their home institution to apply.
