Biography —
Delilah M Begay is a member of the Navajo Nation. She received her A.A. in Media Communications from Haskell Indian Nations University. She received her B.A’s as a Double Major in Film and Media Studies and Linguistics from the University of Kansas. She was also in the McNair Scholars Program at the University of Kansas, where she conducted research on Native American Language Preservation. Which focused on understanding her tribe’s language, Dine Bizaad, for second language acquisition. She is currently a M.A. student in the Indigenous Students Program with focuses on Language Preservation and Representation of Indigenous Peoples in Media.
