Biography —
Star Her Many Horses is a M.A. student in the Department of Indigenous Studies at the University of Kansas. Star's research interest focuses on Indigenous Food Systems and traditional food knowledge's impact on Indigenous Health. Star aspires to implement these teachings in her communities to promote healthy living. Star comes from the Oglala Lakota, Cheyenne, Taos Pueblo, Meskwaki, and Leech Lake Ojibwe Nations!
