Kennedy Murphy

Hello! My name is Kennedy Murphy, I am a citizen of the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma and the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma. I am from Carnegie, OK and I am a first-generation college graduate and a first-generation graduate student. I enjoy learning all things Indigenous history because I believe that it is important to remember our Ancestors, and important to relay this history in a truthful light. I am working under Dr. Alex Red Corn as his GRA and look forward to learning so much more!

I am grateful and must acknowledge my Ancestors and my family. They are the reason I am able to go to school and get the education I want and that I am able to learn and express my Indigenous identity. Àhô (thank you).
